UConn women’s basketball tournament path is set as the No. 3 seed in the Portland 3 Regional. But first, the Huskies need to win the Storrs sub-regional, which features No. 14 Jackson State, No. 6 Syracuse, No. 11 Arizona and No. 11 Auburn. Other top seeds in the region include No. 1 Southern California, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 4 Virginia Tech.

UConn will start its NCAA Tournament slate at Gampel Pavilion, earning the right to host the opening two rounds as a top-16 overall seed in the field. The Huskies won’t have to travel until the Sweet 16 (should they advance) and will also have a home court advantage. UConn has lost just one game at home this season: Notre Dame in January.
