One way or another, Paige Bueckers’ UConn career will come to an end this weekend in Tampa. The Huskies either have one or two games left and after that, she’ll be off to start her next chapter in the WNBA. The lingering question is whether or not Bueckers will capture the national championship that has eluded her up to this point.

Yet as she prepares to take one last shot at it, she’s not hiding from the pressure. She’s embracing it.

“Obviously there's expectations here. Anything less than a national championship is really a disappointment. As players, that's what you play for and what you want to live up to,” Bueckers said. “The expectations and the pressure, it's a privilege. So we all look at it as such.”
