UConn’s 2026-27 non-conference schedule finally has a true home game. On Tuesday, the Huskies announced a home-and-home series with Iowa that’ll begin this upcoming season. UConn will host the Hawkeyes on Nov. 8 (venue TBD) before traveling to Iowa City in 2027-28.

Last season, Iowa earned a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament but was upset in the second round by 10-seed Virginia.

UConn is 7-4 all-time against the Hawkeyes. The Huskies won the most recent matchup, taking a 90-64 victory in the Women’s Champions Classic at Barclays Center in December. The biggest showdown between the schools came in the 2024 Final Four when the Hawkeyes beat an injury-depleted UConn team in Cleveland.

This is the fifth confirmed date on UConn’s 2026-27 schedule, along with a trip to Michigan on Nov. 5 and neutral site matchups with South Carolina (Nov. 24 at Mohegan Sun Arena), Duke (Nov. 28 at TD Garden) and Maryland (Dec. 5 at Barclays Center). The Huskies are also set to play Louisville, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida State on the road as well as LSU in Nashville.

UConn now has 10 non-conference games on the docket, leaving it with one final opening.
