UConn women’s basketball will begin a three-game series with the Duke Blue Devils next season, the schools announced on Friday. They’ll square off at TD Garden in Boston on Nov. 28, 2026 before moving to a traditional home-and-home. The Huskies will visit Cameron Indoor Stadium in 2027-28 then host the Blue Devils in 2028-29.

The middle game will serve as the homecoming for Sarah Strong, a native of Durham, North Carolina — where Duke is located. The sophomore superstar also has a connection to the game at TD Garden: Her mother, Allison Feaster, works as the Boston Celtics’ Vice President of Team Operations & Organizational Growth.

UConn is 14-3 all-time against Duke. The schools split the first six meetings but the Huskies have claimed the last 11. They've also met four times in the postseason. The Blue Devils won the first — a 63-61 victory for the Blue Devils in the 2006 Elite Eight in Bridgeport — but UConn is 3-0 since. UConn scored a 75-40 destruction in the 2011 Elite Eight, a 72-59 victory in the 2018 Sweet Sixteen and an ugly 53-45 win in the 2024 Sweet Sixteen.

Oddly enough, their last two meetings have come in Portland, Oregon — first as part of the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament followed by the Portland 3 Region of the NCAA Tournament.

Next year’s matchup will be the Huskies' second time playing at TD Garden. Back on Nov. 24, 1996, UConn beat Boston College 78-38 in the Reebok Classic at the then-Fleet Center.

The Huskies now have eight games on their 2026-27 non-conference schedule. While no home dates have been announced, they’ll take trips to Louisville, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida State. They also have four neutral-site matchups: South Carolina at Mohegan Sun Arena (Nov. 24), Duke at TD Garden (Nov. 28), LSU in Nashville (date TBA) and the Champions Classic at Barclays Center (date and opponent TBA).
