Opponent breakdown: 1-seed Iowa

UConn can't stop Caitlin Clark, but it'll need to limit the pieces around her to get to the championship game.

UConn women’s basketball will face 1-seed Iowa in the Final Four on Friday night. The Hawkeyes, who won the Albany 2 Regional, enter the meeting on a 10-game win streak which includes a Big Ten Tournament title.

The Huskies will therefore encounter Caitlin Clark in their quest to return to the championship game — the third time they’ll go up against each other. The first was in the 2021 Sweet Sixteen, followed by the Phil Knight Legacy Championship last season. The Huskies won both meetings.

This one will be different, however.
