Is Ice Brady primed for a breakout season?

While Brady's first campaign at UConn was mostly underwhelming, she showed why she was a top-ranked recruit during the Big East Tournament.

By any measure, Ice Brady had a disappointing first season with UConn. Despite playing in all 39 games as the top backup to Aaliyah Edwards, Brady averaged just 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 17.4 minutes while owning the highest foul rate in the rotation at 5.9 percent.

Some struggles were expected. Despite being the No. 5 player in the class of 2022, she missed the entirety of her true freshman campaign due to a dislocated patella. Not only did Brady have to adjust to the college game like every other first-year player, she had to do so while simultaneously coming back from a major injury.
