UConn not looking ahead to potential Elite Eight rematch with USC

Despite all the potential storylines in the Huskies' regional, they're staying focused on Arkansas State.

After the 2025 NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed on Sunday, some of the nation’s top coaches fumed. South Carolina’s Dawn Staley couldn’t believe her team wasn’t the No. 1 overall seed and implied that the selection committee will be to blame if they don’t make the Final Four. USC’s Lindsay Gottlieb felt “disrespected” as the last 1-seed.

Meanwhile, Geno Auriemma greeted the newly-minted field of 64 with a shrug.

“You go where they tell you and you play who they tell you,” he said. “It's been like that from day one.”
