UConn returns from the holiday break with a tough test in its second game of conference play. The Huskies will face No. 18 Marquette at home on New Year’s Eve.

The Golden Eagles are undefeated on the season with notable wins over Illinois, Arkansas and Creighton. UConn is the toughest opponent that Marquette has seen so far, but the senior trio of Liza Karlen, Jordan King and Rose Nkumu is plenty familiar with the Huskies.
