UConn's summer recruiting preview

With no future commitments at the moment, the Huskies have a busy few months ahead on the recruiting trail.

As UConn welcomes its incoming freshman class to campus for the summer session, it’ll simultaneously set to out to start building its next crop of newcomers. At the moment, the Huskies don’t have a single future commitment — though they aren’t alone. Only nine of the 60 players ESPN’s 2026 rankings have picked a school so far.

That’ll start to change this summer. The vast majority of recruits commit by the early signing period in November, though there are exceptions (like Sarah Strong). That means UConn’s future should start to come together over the next six months.
