UConn women’s basketball’s complete 2026-27 slate is out. On Thursday, the Big East released its schedule, filling out the final 20 dates on the Huskies’ docket.
The school also announced its arena designations, splitting its 16 home contests evenly between Gampel Pavilion in Storrs and PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford. UConn will host Army (exhibition), Iowa, UNLV, Creighton, DePaul, Villanova, Xavier and Butler in Storrs, while Texas (exhibition), Cornell, Seton Hall, Tennessee, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence and St. John's will travel to Hartford.
Tip-off times and television information will be announced at a later date.
The Huskies begin Big East play at home on Nov. 20 against Seton Hall. The regular season concludes with senior day on Feb. 28 against Butler. They’ll face every team in the league twice, home and away.
With no non-conference games after Dec. 20, UConn will have a breather in January between contests at Seton Hall on Jan. 18 and St. John’s on Jan. 24.
For the second consecutive year, the Huskies will square off against the Red Storm at Madison Square Garden. In that same vein, their Feb. 7 matchup at Marquette will take place at Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, while the Feb. 25 meeting at Providence is once again set for Amica Mutual Pavilion.
Meanwhile, trips to Creighton (Jan. 10), Seton Hall (Jan. 18) and Georgetown (Feb. 18) are all listed without a venue, which could portend a move to a bigger arena. The Bluejays have previously hosted UConn at CHI Health Center — an 18,000 seat venue that serves as the home of Creighton’s men’s basketball team — while the Hoyas have taken on the Huskies at CareFirst Arena — the Washington Mystics’ home floor. As for the Pirates, they could potentially move the game to the Prudential Center in Newark, where their men’s basketball team plays.
UConn’s first action will be on Oct. 12 during an exhibition with Syracuse at Mohegan Sun Arena. After two more preseason matchups with Texas (Oct. 19 in Hartford) and Army (Oct. 25 in Storrs), the Huskies will kick off the regular season against Cornell (Nov. 2 in Hartford). The Big East Tournament will take place from Mar. 5-8 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
UConn is 104-3 since rejoining the league ahead of the 2020-21 season. The Huskies have claimed every conference regular season and tournament crown in that time.
