Marine Dursus arrives on campus
UConn’s entire roster has officially made it to campus for summer workouts. This week, Marine Dursus finally arrived after waiting to arrive from France. While most of the roster will return home soon, the first-year guard will stay in Storrs beyond the initial summer session.
Dursus has settled in quickly with her new teammates. She’s impressed with her baking skills — tiramisu is her best, she said — and has already started to give French lessons to the likes of Sarah Strong, Gandy Malou-Mamel and Jana El Alfy.
UConn now has two exhibitions on its preseason schedule. Exactly one week before the Huskies take on Texas at home, they’ll play Syracuse at Mohegan Sun Arena as part of the Hall of Fame Series Exhibition on Monday, Oct. 12. UConn men’s basketball will take on the Orange the following night.
This is the second straight season the Huskies’ two teams will participate in the Hall of Fame Series Exhibition. In 2025, they both claimed victories over Boston College in a true doubleheader.

This is Stewart’s third time winning the Commissioner’s Cup and the second time she’s taken home MVP honors.
