UConn women’s basketball released its complete 2025-26 schedule as well as the arena designations for home games on Friday. Tip times and television information will be announced at a later date.

While the Huskies already revealed their full non-conference slate, the conference dates are now out. UConn begins Big East play on Sunday, Nov. 30 at Xavier and closes the regular season on Sunday, Mar. 1 at St. John’s. Senior day is likely set for Sunday, Feb. 22 against Providence.

After previously shrinking the schedule to 18 games, the league changed back to a double-double robin format for the upcoming campaign, so Geno Auriemma’s crew will face every team once at home and once on the road for 20 total conference matchups.

UConn’s home slate is split evenly between Gampel Pavilion and PeoplesBank Arena (formerly the XL Center) with each venue getting eight games each. It’ll host Florida State, Loyola Chicago, DePaul, Villanova, Notre Dame, Xavier, Creighton and Providence in Storrs while Southern Connecticut (exhibition), Ohio State, Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Tennessee, Butler and Georgetown will journey to Hartford.

On the road, the Huskies will play a few teams in larger venues, taking on Providence at Amica Mutual Pavilion and Creighton at CHI Health Center for the second straight year. While both schools typically relegate their women’s programs to high school-sized gyms, they’ll instead play UConn at their respective men’s arenas.

As for St. John’s, the location is still to be announced. Previously, the Red Storm have hosted the Huskies at UBS Arena, home of the New York Islanders, though last year’s contest came at the on-campus Carnesecca Arena.

Last season, Auriemma bemoaned UConn’s condensed schedule after the new year but not much has changed in that regard. The Huskies don’t have any breaks after the holidays, playing once every 3-4 days from Dec. 28 to Mar. 1 to fit in non-conference matchups with Notre Dame (Monday, Jan. 19) and Tennessee (Sunday, Feb. 1).

UConn will not host its annual First Night festivities this season due to ongoing renovations to Gampel Pavilion, so the first time to see the team take the court will be on Monday, Oct. 13 in an exhibition against Boston College at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Huskies will have another tune up on Sunday, Oct. 26 against Southern Connecticut before beginning the regular season in earnest on Tuesday, Nov. 4 against Louisville as part of the Armed Forces Classic at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
